Hey, that's your issue my friend.

We've seen the results on the pitch with them and their transfer business.

Obviously their transfer business has been a mess but Yoro is honestly the last guy I would be calling waste of money right now of their recent signings.

If you think that move made sense at the time with the state their team is in then good luck to you.

Should probably apply for a gig with their recruitment team. You'd fit right in.

Hopefully their decision making continues in this vein. It's working out really well for them.

I really don't understand your tone here. Your man Zirkzee has been on fire while you keep taking digs at Yoro, makes zero sense. How about the big fee spent on 7 years older De Ligt?

Don't let old arguments with Froggy control your life mate.

They looked much much better today tbh. Having Ugarte and Mainoo in from the start meant they offered a shield which gave them a platform to build on. Fernandes did really well to link things together too, he played really well too tbf. Still fancy us to finish above them by a few points but they'll eventually click into Amorim's system but it may not be pretty until they shift a few out who aren't capable of adapting

It’s not exactly difficult to see the point Kaka is trying to make here, unless you’re trying to be deliberately obtuse.

Yoro, like Hojlund was bought for a fee which should and could’ve bought an established first team player, not someone they hope might be that in a few years. It was double the fee we paid for Botman, who was more proven in the same league.

Like Mason Mount?

It's so basic man.

They have to be trolling, and so I'm going to leave them to it.

I just hope Man Utd continue with these sorts of moves.

They are just gambling on potential being realized. Better to pay a bit more than maybe others would have had to early, than waiting 3-4 years and having to pay 2-3x for the same player. I totally get it, but it will of course come at the expense of immediate results and with the risk that the potential might not be realized.

I'd understand that logic if they had and recent history of young players realising their potential at that club. Rooney and Ronaldo was a LONG time ago now man, there is no patience for players to learn on the job there in the last 10 years, they need players who can not only hit the ground running, but can deal with the weight of the shirt.

FFS we've seen players wilt when pulling on our shirt when things weren’t going well and I’d argue the pressure at Newcastle is nowhere near that at Man Utd, even if in reality it’s probably been closer than Froggy would like to admit these past 3 years.

Yes, totally get that. But timing is everything.

You go with this approach once you have a solid first team in place already.

It's all back to front at the minute. Like I said though, hope it continues.

They'll just end up in a few months claiming they're all not good enough and throwing them away to chase the latest hype.

just 12 points clear of them again 29 years later, nothing to worry about...

 nothing to worry about this time.

We're not going to finish 13th but 5th is out of reach.

Still a Europa League to win though.

Bruno F played well and he dragged the team up a level or 2.

Despite Froggy’s relentless slating of Maguire I thought he was good too. He’s a decent defender.

Dalot played like the Dalot I know.
Tbh I don’t think Froggy’s a reliable judge of Manu players :bluestar:

They're better than he gives them credit for.

Except Hojland……

Don't write Hojland off. He's still only 21, and I've seen some signs of improvement recently. It's not an easy situation at Man U right now, but he's showing some resilience.

There are rumours that they want to bring Gyorkores in, which would be a repeat of the same kind of mistake that they've been making for years - bringing in players who actually aren't much better than the ones they've already got.

Otherwise I agree with your post. There's no shortage of ability among their players individually.
