The College Dropout
NO confidence. Bringing him on at 3-2 is a lose-lose situation for him.
Decky
The commentator said Pardew admitted Cabella is finding it hard to adjust. No fucking wonder, he never gets a chance.
Ally
Pardew will have given him the charm sell that he likes possession football, taking the game to the opposition, be a fret etc. Doesn't take long for a good player to get disillusioned when in reality the tactic is a far post free kick to Mike Williamson
Skeletor
This lad may just have lucked out if Pardle goes to Palace.
Decky
If we get a manager who loves attacking football this lad will be unbelievable.
huss9
either that or he'll shipped off on loan to an italian club with a 3.5m euro permanent deal at the end of it.

Guest Cuddy
Cabella's from Corsica, used to be an Italian island. They still speak a weird French-Italian hybrid I think.

Ikon
I guess this guy isn't complaining too much now (unless Carver puts him on the bench ) Fingers crossed for him. Seems like a good lad.
GeordieT
Pardew had written him off already as not good enough according to one article in the Journal this morning.
Skeletor
Pardew had written him off already as not good enough according to one article in the Journal this morning. That was already pretty obvious. He hates flair players.
Dr Venkman
Yeah I read that this morning. I simultaneously lived the moment I read that article and whatever I was doing when he signed for us, like a bridge across time. I mean really, who saw that coming? toontownman
Good god, imagine we actually get a coach that isn't stuck in the traditional british past and knows how to deal with flair players and form a creative free flowing team. Tbh I have seen very little from Cabella, but he looks like he could be useful when settled and given a chance with a coach that might know what he is doing. Dave
Ashley will have taken a lot of convincing to spend around £10m on him. I'm sure he's delighted Pardew didn't rate him and that his value has only gone down.

Gallowgate Toon
Pardew had written him off already as not good enough according to one article in the Journal this morning. up to him to prove him wrong now. Well, it's up to someone to give him a proper chance, actually. Not fair on the lad that when he performed well in cameos that he was then dropped because he didn't rip up trees when having to defend against Chelsea for 60 minutes in his next game etc. He needs a run of matches to settle, as well as a manager to show confidence in him and his technical ability rather than constantly blithering on about needing English physicality. Pardew still playing the 'Ben Arfa starting up front at Old Trafford' card I see What a total cunt, man.
