The player has agreed to a long term contract with the Premier League side after a structured agreement was made between Newcastle and Montpellier in a deal which could rise up to as far as €16m if all bonus clauses are activated. The deal should be, barring any major hiccups, official shortly. Remy Cabella’s transfer to Newcastle is now a done deal.

joeyt
“He is like Hatem in the way he plays but he is much more clever and grounded,” Laurens says. “He is a young guy as well but his dad looks after him and he is much more grounded than someone like Hatem, who can do silly things at times. Cabella is much more grounded and is more sensible. He is ambitious and will work hard at Newcastle.” Anyone know if he's grounded?

Guest
Starts like a house on fire, looks class for 18 months, gets dropped for a grafter then buggers off to Spurs. I see the similarities already.

Klaus
Having a medical is normally the last part of the process i would imagine. The 'deal' is complete (including personal term), we are simply waiting for him to pass the medical.

Pilko
Posing in last season's 4 shirt. Probably with a letter 'y' on the floor and the letters hastily rearranged and a few 'l's added. Savings.
