Danilo Varane Coentrao/Arbeloa

Kovacic Casemiro

Better depth than last season. Need to get rid of Illaramendi asap.

Danilo and Navas are starting this season no?

Feel City are missing a trick with Mangala tbh, needed last season to settle and adapt and this season to kick on.

He's looked good these first two games. Absolutely manhandled Costa a few times yesterday. Can't imagine they'd get rid. Should keep him even if they sign Otamendi. Dimichelis as fourth choice.

Yup. He looked a lot more like the player they hoped they had bought. Playing with a confidence and a focus that he badly lacked last season.

Kompany is slowing down, anyway. They need 3 CBs to challenge.

Scored twice and have had two clean sheets...

After three pretty shitty years by his 2011 standards, you're going to say he's good again after 2 matches? Come on, small sample size, bro.

Nah just find the timing of that comment ridiculous.

Average age of City's team is high and a lot of players are starting to get on, but a lot of them are also hitting/in their prime and tbh not adding much to their first team could be more productive than a load of new big money signings. They've all played together bar Sterling, so it's only 1 player to integrate and both physically and mentally they look spot on at the moment. The way they smashed Chelsea on the weekend was just astounding.

It's based on his performances over the past few years. He also can't stay fit so they need 3 CBs, anyway.

City looked very impressive yesterday, they took the game to Chelsea and caused all kinds of problems and when Chelsea came back into it they sat back, soaked up any pressure and then hit them hard on the counter. They need to keep their spine injury free if they are to win the title and could do with a monster in midfield in a defensive perspective, but they are looking good.

Chelsea on the other hand look awful, that was a poor performance and something you'd expect to see from a Pardew NUFC not the Champions. You can not write them off though. Keep Kompany, Toure and Aguero together fit for the majority of the season though and City will simply outscore their way to the title in my opinion.
