He's gonna have to get a move on if the extra fans forum is gonna take place before the end of the season. Another example of his lies.

If they sack him maybe Ashley will let Charver prove he's the best Chief Executive in the Premier League. A sobering thought.

Fans fault mate. He asked for an early meeting, forum members fucked it up by demanding Ashley attend. Fans fault.

Hasn't got long to organise this fan forum. Or maybe he lied.

The FF gave him the perfect get out clause in demanding Ashley turned up. Can cite 'he is too busy' as the reason it never happened

  • 2 weeks later...

Will take his time appointing a new manager according to the papers.

Have a feeling the appointment will drag on affecting the player recruitment which obviously cannot be done in parallel process.

We tried but there was just to little time to get anybody over the line with the best pound for pound value.

Happy summer!

There are some fresh options on the table now tho.  I think Rodgers will be binned by Liverpool, Moyes could be tempted, Allardyce is avaialable again, Ancheloti is available, Clough is looking for work and we have the option of Carver.

Things look good.

We've got more chance of reappointing Joe Harvey than any of them, other than Charver of course.

There might be no announcement and Carver can quietly slip into the job. Wouldn't put it past them.

The Chris Hughton approach? It's been done before in any case, and that worked out quite well for the club.

This fucking club man..

This, unfortunately. If they did it now after all the fuss of the other day, they'd get hammered for it. PR 101 to let things cool down, everyone forgets about it and they subtly just carry on with the same old shit.

The announcement will be buried behind some 'good' news. Probably after we sign some out of contract League 1 clogger. Or Leon Best again.

I think Ancelottis move will cause a ripple effect. Can see some major movement because of his availability myself.

Not that we will be troubled by it mind!

Ashley is a multi-Billionaire businessman with years of experience in all sorts of successful investments. Charnley is a secretary in his first corporate job, he has been set up as a patsy in order to take the flak when this pre-season doesn't work out.
