No, the reason he was playing was because CM was/is our weakest position. (and yes, he was the one of the more "established" names for that position, which says it all.) I said even when we got relegated there was no way that Rafa would ever play him regularly in the Premier because he's not physically up to it. As it turns out he could barely hold his own in the championship. Rafa is showing exactly why he's built such a formidable reputation as one of the world's top managers. He's from a different planet to your bog standard British managers who would have found a spot for our Jack because he would give 100% local effort. Hull, Grimsby & Lincoln. Especially Louth. Aye, it’s 3 hour journey easily, thats without stops as well and if traffic is bad.
