I suppose as a general point as well, I don't think it should be beyond a professional footballer to be able to play in a different position and not look out of place - especially given that left wing to left back is hardly the biggest change. We aren't exactly asking him to play centre half. Having said all that - ridiculous decision to play him at left back away from home at Chelsea. He couldn't have played any earlier than he did. If he wants to leave at the end of the season he will.
