Seen his latest bile?

Claims he wants to win a cup but then says premier league is the top priority, what does that even mean? Surely those are two hugely conflicting statements. And why does it have to be either or? Why cant we just be a normal club who competes for whatever is in front of us.

Then goes on to imply we should be grateful that at least the club are being "honest" about our lack of cup ambition.

It just gets worse and worse every time the c*** opens his mouth, I'm convinced hes on the wind up.

Not really. He wants to win a cup but the Premier League is priority.

Winning cups = relegation

“The board outlined research into Premier League clubs in relation to domestic cup competitions in the last five years, with Swansea City the only club outside the traditional top six to win a domestic cup and not be relegated in the same season (Birmingham and Wigan Athletic were both relegated).

“Independent research into the cost of relegation over the past ten years showed there is a 50% chance of not gaining promotion back to the top flight and a 30% chance of being relegated to League One or further. In addition, if clubs do return to the Premier League, it takes four years on average.”

Yup there is a difference between wanting to stay in the league and coming up with this tripe.

Expect a new banner coming up after that disgusting quote by the cunt.

Regarding the thread, I'm sure it will even stay strong when he eventually leaves because there will always be people interested with his future success or failure.

The 50% of our transfer budget that was earmarked for a new telly in the club cafeteria?

The disgusting thing is that when he says the PL is the priority,  he doesn't mean winning it. He means coming 10th.

I honestly think it's worse than that and he just means being in it.

Might as well just say, we have no interest in style of play, individual teams you may want us to beat, crowd levels, games outside the premier league or football in general, so long as the team scrapes enough points to stay in the premier league, Ashley gets his payout and continued audiences for SD tat we're all good.

Enjoy watching that tripe because we know you won't stop supporting the team.

Love Pardew et al x

He also doesn't get that a cup run could potentially boost squad and fan morale and create a bit of momentum. I don't even get why we can't go for it, how can players not play more than 1 game a week. It's all they do.

FA cup games are instead of league games anyway, just go for it you pussy. Imagine being so fucking negative and calling it "managing expectations" or "being honest" wonder how the players feel about the lack of ambition.

We know you may not win the cup but have a go ffs

What a depressing club we support, you'd think we'd been spoilt with trophies over the years. And to think people stick up for Pardew, "who is better out there" is a common question on Twitter, I'd even have Roeder back over this cunt.

We've been through this hundreds of times, almost every football fan finds it inexplicable but almost every football club finds it absolutely normal.

nah fuck that, as has been said the mouthpiece prick doesn't need to say anymore than "we're going to give it our all to win a cup"

he's getting his excuses in early as ever

I can't accept that every manager accepts money over trophies. That's just not the normal mindset of a professional sportsman.

I can accept that the board of a club looks at the finances. A manager is a born and bred football man who only wants to win football matches.

Most managers I should say. Ours is a bit of an exception.
