TRon
Same problems which got us relegated last season tbh. With him and Perez we are relying on two strikers who don't score enough goals. With Gayle out, it is really starting to cost us points.
Kanji
I'm sort of over Mitro, and I hate to say it because I love it when he's playing well and going all full mad on the pitch. His misses are costly.
Newcastle Fan
It was incredibly frustrating seeing good balls being put in right across their goal and him never being there to get at the end of it, Atsu put in a brilliant ball in the second half and it was a strikers dream but Mitro was far from it. huss9
wasnt so much his missed chances today but the lack of of killer instict. couple of great balls today just needing a tap in from anyone in the six yard box. mitro hanging back - he should be bursting to get on the end of them. think it was ritchie who called him out on one such instance but mitro just answered with a shrug. Saw this so much last season. Cisse got called worse than shit on here, but he was always looking for the crosses into the box. It's what natural strikers do. Finishing is a different matter, but at least you should have the instinct to find the space in the box.
joeyt
Did some decent stuff occasionally but in the main he was total shite today and my patience has gone with him. Ritchie gave him a bollocking in the first half for not even attempting to get on the end of a cross from a freekick

Wallsendmag
He's sh*t. Pure and simple. Shearer would have had a hattrick today with some of those balls put into the box but this lad has literally zero strikers instinct to his game. Ritchie looked fed up with him. Dinho lad
Not sure why we need to compare him with Shearer. He should be compared with last season's Mitro - is any better? I'm afraid it's a nope from me.

ExiledGeordie
Second time I've seen him live at St James. Absolute garbage. Doesn't anticipate crosses, slow, I don't remember him winning a header ffs. We all know about his finishing too.
Elliottman
Happy to hold my hands up and say I was wrong. Can't win a ball in the air, and Jesus, there were some lovely balls in today he was nowhere near. He's just not good enough.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
He's not even good at the things his defenders say he's good at. More often than not he doesn't win headers and he doesn't hold the ball up well either.
Rocker
I've given up on him. Any competant striker would've put these to bed today.
Sifu
I really do want to give him a chance as I do believe he has something in him to become a competent striker but we simply can't accommodate him anymore - his poor finishing has cost us this calendar year. Should definitely leave him on the bench and start Murphy if Gayle's out injured.
Guest neesy111
He's a very very rough diamond, will take him years to develop. Be best for him to go somewhere like Italy.
midds
Just can't afford to start him any longer. Don't care how old he is or how much he cost or how many goals he's scored in Belgium, his misses are costing us points on a regular basis. He gets a chance and he either blows it because he can't be trusted to control himself or simply can't convert fairly easy chances. He's had his chance, I'd start Murphy. Mitrovic as third choice and named on the bench, only subbed on as a battering ram if we're chasing it. No time for sentiment, he's not been up to it. LoveItIfWeBeatU
Did he miss chances today? There's only one header on the highlights. His main failing yesterday was not getting in the box to attempt to convert presentable chances from crosses.
Incognito
Having seen all of the folks wanting Murphy in , I thought back to his previous start where he could have been marked out of the game by a statue. Mitrovic misses too many chances but he never gives the opposing central defenders an easy week. I'd start him over Murphy every time.
Ronaldo
I've seen a hell of a lot of defenders have an easy time with Mitro. Most of them are bigger, stronger, quicker and smarter, for a start. Let's not pretend he's some colossus that can't be stopped.
