Jimburst
Fuck, just seen that pass. What a bloke. Which pass?

joeyt
Ah, to Joselu for his first time miss? yeah, what a beaut. Shelvey esque Put Shaqiri on his arse in the buildup too
The College Dropout
Thought he was very conservative and sometimes lazy in his passing and moving with the ball. In previous games he's been much more purposeful with the ball - still better than Paul D with it though. Thought he and the whole team should've made a bigger deal about him being blocked off/fouled. The team is very passive with appeals and it really does influence referees. Was a bit passive all over himself.
Kanj
I agree with you on the 2nd part. He was shoved twice in the box and needs to make a bigger deal about that.
Papavasiliou
I agree with you on the 2nd part. He was shoved twice in the box and needs to make a bigger deal about that. The fact that he even made it into the oppposition box puts him ahead of Dummett for me.

Pilko
There's no way Rafa drops Mbemba entirely for fucking Manquillo surely
U2
I reckon it is possible. If Mbemba wasn't doing as told in training, Rafa ain't gonna pick him.
Mole_Toonfan
To the point of not being on the bench? Aye I don't particularly believe that tbh.

durhamunigeordie
Can quite believe it. Rafa picks the 18 on a game by game basis. I can't imagine Mbemba would have fared well as a full back against the pace of Salah (or Mane if they switched), plus Liverpool's weakness is supposedly at the back. Having Manquillo with Gamez as back up makes perfect sense. And Lejeune is clearly ahead of Mbemba in the CB pecking order.

Don't see how Manquillo is any better equipped to deal with Salah/Mane than Mbemba is tbh.
durhamunigeordie
In terms of positional awareness you'd think he would be better than Mbemba as a left back. Probably offers more overlapping going forward as well. Don't get me wrong he is far from a perfect solution, but I think of the two he is probably better placed to deal with out and out wingers. Segun Oluwaniyi
Injured or nah? Didn't Rafa mention him as an option when he was talking about Colback's banishment? I think both Anderlecht boys are players Rafa simply has no interest in, who he will look to sell in January and only use as desperation options in the meantime. Doctor Zaius
He looks to me the best left back we have. Certainly showed more than Manquillo ffs. I fear Rafa doesnt fancy him though. 25M spent on Saivet, Chancel and Mitrovic too....
sempuki
He's way better than Manquillo. He must have really pissed Rafa off about something.
