Bramble was actually a very good defender for 85 minutes, but in the other 5 mins he'd cost you a goal. This is my worry with Mbemba, he looks like a rolls royce player for a few games then he has games like this one where he looks like he's stoned and having a whitey.

Can't believe he's being compared to Titus.

Really, you can't believe it? Titus could lock out the best forwards in the CL then in the next game produce a howler against some team struggling against relegation. The comparison isn't that ludicrous surely?

Titus was stronger, faster and much better in the air, and could pass out from the back with both feet. He should have been a great player but his concentration consistently let him down. Mbemba is average and I don't think he'll ever be better than that.

Nobody deserves to be compared to Titus.

It's a really strange comparison

No surprise after Tron said the other day that 'Bellamy relied more on the sheer power from his left foot'

He did, how many times did you see him pass it into the net or dink one over the keeper? He had a great left foot and usually put his head down and belted it towards the goal in one on ones.

Belting it head down when the keeper's on top of you doesn't usually work. Bellamy had a hell of a left foot but the best finishers usually find a way past the keeper when they come out and narrow the angles.

Titus and those almighty swings that missed the ball

Then a crossfield 60 yarder with either foot i could only dream of. Titus was potential never realised, concentration and his brainfarts always let him down in the end.

A lot of those 60 yarders found the stands also LBH.
