NEEJ
He was cack and so was his partner. Dummett and Anita didn't exactly cover themselves in glory either.
sempuki
This is the last we'll see of him after that. Can now see why Rafa doesn't rate him. He was awful.
Minhosa
He was being partnered by Lascelles mind Not sure either are good enough tbh. I've always liked Mbemba but he was an absolute bag of shite tonight.
Ronaldo
He's behind Grant Hanley in the pecking order and today's a little reminder of why. Decent footballer but horribly unsuited to the English game. Unusual for a Carr signing.

I've always liked Mbemba but he was an absolute bag of shite tonight. Same here. There's a good player in there technically, but a defender who switches off is an accident waiting to happen. Enough. He's a decent natural 'defender' and athlete but I'm quickly coming around to the idea that he's not one for being 'coached'.

He'll be gone or fourth choice here next year. These last two showings would've done nothing to convince Rafa that there's a 'coachable athlete' in there imho. Think hes more suited to prem than the physicality of the championship He was decent when he wasn't involved in such a rigid/regimented system. He's shown no ability to make a meaningful contribution in the new environment and that's why he's not had a look-in until now, when we're on the bones of our arse for a CB. Unusual for a Carr signing. He was good last season. Think hes more suited to prem than the physicality of the championship He played basically every game for a team that conceded loads of goals and got relegated. He showed a bit of potential but he still made lots of mistakes last season
The College Dropout
He was pap last season. He looked no better than Bassong did when we got relegated last time. Bassong is pap too.
Tooj
He was pap last season. He looked no better than Bassong did when we got relegated last time. Bassong is pap too. Bassong was our best central defender when we got relegated that season.
STM
It's a shame because on the ball he's champion. He's not a natural defender like, far from it.

Guest firetotheworks
I'll argue until the end of time that the defence in 08/09 was perfectly fine. It had Nicky Butt, Alan Smith and Danny Guthrie and Geremi protecting it, that shouldn't be forgotten.

The rest made him look good because they were so shit.

He was well rated in that season though, Spurs poached him on the back of a decent showing that year.

Guest Howaythetoon
Who would you have then? He's a better all-rounder than Lacelles, Clarke and Hanley at CB although Clarke has done really well this season and has been one of our better players by far.
