Wullie
If he stays, he will utterly piss the Championship in the same way Routledge did.
Yorkie
If I could only pick one player to stay, it'd be him.
Bimpy474
Good player, need him to stay badly and i reckon he will.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Spurs were far from their best but the pace of Townsend, Sissoko and Aarons destroyed them on the break. We need to scout and buy players with pace. It is a huge part of the game (Obertan is the exception which proves the rule).
TRon
I've absolutely done a 180 turn on him like. He's got two great feet and decent set pieces as well. He's one of the few players we absolutely must keep hold of.
Nobody
If he stays, he will utterly piss the Championship in the same way Routledge did. Aye. Would be surprised if he doesn't get 25 goals and assists if he stays.
Yorkie
Aarons - Colback - Shelvey - Townsend would be a center-mid away from being a really, really good midfield at that level.
Figures 1-0 Football
He'll stay if Rafa stays, it is as simple as that.
La Parka
Rafa whispered in his ear that he will stay if Andros does...
Jesse Pinkman
Townsend was a different level today. Part of me hopes he goes to the Euro's as he clearly deserves it over Walcott, however if he goes his stock will rise massively and I think he will be snapped up by a Stoke, Everton or Southampton. Tooj
I think that he'd fit in well at Leicester.
Figures 1-0 Football
I think that he'd fit in well at Leicester. 30,000 flappy crappy clappers every week is enough to put anyone off.
Andy84
He'll be one I'll be genuinely sad to see leave and to be fair the Championship is way below where he should be. If the 8 million relegation buy out clause is true then it's a great piece of business for someone, wish him all the best. Cheers Andros
Yorkie
Actually really will be gutting if he goes. Finally someone with a bit of spark, pace, tenacity and talent to go with it. Seems like a good bloke, too. Finally someone who's fit to lace Hatem's boots.
Parsley
Class today. Shame he couldn't get on the score sheet, looked desperate for a goal.
toontownman
Enjoyed himself today. Won't have done himself any harm for the euros. Hope he is in. Will have a slew of offers. Think he might stay if Rafa does. Will certain see a lot of players open to staying if Rafa does.
Kanj
He was asking for the penalty too. Moussa even tried to convince Wijnaldum to let it go. Of course Gini took it. Andros looked gutted. Fuck Gini man.
Deuce
He'll take the piss outta the Championship if he stays. Hope he does.
toontownman
Keeping him has to be our number two priority after securing Rafa. Followed by chancel.
afar
If Rafa signs on, and Andros stays, I think that'll be a huge sign to all we are expecting to bounce straight back up and I doubt many others that we want to keep, head out the door. At the end of the day that's what's important really, keeping the players we want to, while letting the others go. Right now I think Rafa has a good idea who he wants to hang on to, another reason to hope he's still here come the start of 2016/17.
The College Dropout
Has probably played too well to end up in the Championship.
ads
Has probably played too well to end up in the Championship. Fair point, but he knew what he was letting himself in for. He'll tear shit up next season though.
mighty__mag
If Woy announces the England sqaud with him included today, and he gets a few games and does ok even scores, I can see a huge war between lots of interested parties if the release is only 8m. joeyt
He's been really fantastic for us like, think he's proven a hell of a lot of people (me) wrong I think I just lazily assumed he had one trick to cut inside and shoot but he's got so much more than that. Hope he stays but think he'll be the one most likely to go
Stottie
He's been great for us and, wow, what a shot on him. I did rate him, but he's still exceeded my expectations. Definitely one to keep if it is possible. He was also prepared to come and graft for our bunch of losers, so all credit to the lad. I hope he stays, but will still wish him all the best if he doesn't.
