toontownman
Alot depends on if they come from the newcastle school of transfer planning or not. Do they have people lined up spend some of hat 21m tmrw to replace him? If they are adamant they don't want to sell, then probably not.
Tooj
How do you know that he doesn't want to come?
jdckelly
the entire Berahino thing is bloody weird. Scored plenty last season yet this season barely ever starts and yet despite the manager by the looks of it not being terribly upset by the idea of him being sold the chairman is determined to keep him at the club when his value is likely to drop quickly. r0cafella
Smells like a 'at least we tried' effort Will people keep stopping with this shit. We ARE trying because we don't want to get relegated. You would have to be a right idiot to think they are sitting around making "fake bids". Not saying it's a fake bid but they've stated 30 million, a drop to 21 isn't really going to get the deal done to be honest.
xLiaaamx
Shelvey will prove he's worth 12 like. Clearly got the ability
nemtizz
21m for a lad who doesn't want to come and is known to be a tad sulky and a bit Billy big bollocks. Sure to work out well if it goes thru. Where'd you hear that?
Jackie Broon
No way they are going to sell him this window If the secret footballer story has any truth to it the chairman might be temped to sell right at the close of the window so Pulis won't have time to spend it. We ARE trying because we don't want to get relegated. You would have to be a right idiot to think they are sitting around making "fake bids". Do it in the middle of the window then, not right in the end when it's likely to not accepted and you know that going in and the only reason to do it is make it look like you are trying. I'm sorry but if they were serious but they wouldn't wait till the deadline for some one who is out of favour anyway.

There's nothing to say we haven't been putting in groundwork over the month but with time running out things are now coming to a head. It's not just us that do this. Guest firetotheworks
Weird one, this. Ashley decides to pay top dollar now, for Berahino? That's the player they're choosing to spend that amount on?

Interpolic
This is a pile of balls tbh.... This transfer window is gonna kill or club tbh big money on average/shite footballers and I can tell you this now we are going down not one player we signed this transfer window is good enough to keep us up average players for ludicrous money... Shelvey isn't worth 12 million nor is Townsend and now 21 million for an average pre madonna cunt.... He's gonna be our record transfer like ? Fuck off complete joke The fees aren't particularly high considering the amount of money that's been thrown about the last few years, it's just noticeable because our squad has been neglected for years and we're spending it all now. Rather than staggered over many years to keep the squad fresh and capable, as we could and should have.

It's just the going rate nowadays.

Makes sense for both sides to wait it out tbh Only reason for West Brom not to is if they were determined to replace him if sold as he's a key player so they'd need to replace that. But hes not been for them this season. They're in no worse situation if they sell the lad, they'd be losing a disruptive influence supposedly.
