Rest of the results didn't really go they're way though. Don't beat Hull and yesterday was pointless.

How so, they'd be 3 points further back.

Well, obviously its still better than if they lost both, but Hull winning today means the gaps going to be huge again if they lose to them.

They finally win and everyone else s***s on them

Lose to Hull and they're firmly back in the s***.

What a world where 6 points adrift is an achievement

Other teams have that 40point target, they start off with a 12point target.

A draw will Hull and they are deeper in the s***, never mind 'back' in the s***.

Yesterday proves these f***ers cant be flushed

Bad set of results for them tbh, still 7 points from safety in truth with GD.

If they get the points they'll make up the goal difference.

They look like they've got some very tough fixtures after Hull but these fuckers have become specialist at pulling points out of nowhere from tough looking fixtures especially when survival is involved.

You just cant confidently say they'll lose X, Y and Z or they'll win X, Y and Z because the only thing that's predicable about these shower of cunts is that they always find a way somehow of squirming their way out relegation.

To be honest when they beat Hull they're very much back in it. I can't confidently say they'll go down anymore.

Defoe

Hull have just beaten Southampton, an outfit which is superior to Sunderland from top to bottom.

Hull got three new long term injuries yesterday leaving them with only 18 first teamers and 3 of those are keepers. I can't see them getting a result

Hull also had their best run of form when they had nee players earlier this season says me furiously grappling for any straws I can get my hands on.

Realistically cant see Hull getting a win against them, so a draw is the best to hope for.

Then, really gotta hope they go winless up until January (fairly realistic)

can see them beating Hull easily, however they have a tough run of fixtures ahead so its gonna be tough for them.

we all now know after the flukey win at Bournemouth they will get out of it, its what they do. :embarrassed:

Just read the match report on the BBC website.  David Moyes is weird.

"We went to a factory this week, showing the players it is much better to be a footballer than working in a factory."

Reminds me of what my dad did once when I got lazy at school and got bad grades.
