Moyes clearly just hanging on for the sack and the pay-off now.

Another (un)subtle dig at the fans again last night, saying something like he wouldn't have booed that performance, or the one against West Ham.

Pictures on SSN of Anichebe and Defoe just glancing at the fans as they were chanting 'not fit to wear the shirt' said it all.

Just need another quote from Lescott about relegation being a weight lifted, so they can enjoy the last few games.

Its a massive job to turn that playing squad around. Loads of tired and dead wood. No real quality players to sell. A manager tgat doesnt want to be there,  chairman wants to sell up,  its losing money and cannot get fans into the stadium.

Moyes will have a 50% relegation clause in his contract, of course if they are going to sack him it won't be now, it will be when that can be triggered to save half the costs.

Tbh I hope they do, I'll just make things worse.

They are desperate for us to get points deducted

Not going to happen in my opinion. 1 we have to be proven to be guilty of something, 2 It's not being treat as a footballing matter, 3 even if 1 and 2 changed then it is likely that a fine would be placed upon us instead, 4 lawyers would be all over this and appeals would happen which would over turn it, 4 Points can't be deducted from this season and the end of the HMRC investigation is months if not years away from a conclusion never mind a football investigation.

If we don't get any points deducted, they'll start a letter writing campaign to the FA on RTG, I guarantee it.

From a red and whiter........WOW!

I did find some of the chanting last night somewhat bizarre.

The usual stuff was aimed at Boro early doors which had me thinking of throwing stones in glass houses etc and then later a chant was aimed at Boro that Adam Johnson is “one of their own”.

The fans hate the players, the manager hates the fans, they all hate each other, the sunderland family click click....

To the tune of the Addams Family song.

Ready to Groom is cracking up  They genuinely can't handle the reality of the status quo being restored. Cackling deliriously with one another about a collective delusion that we start next season having been to demoted League One.

Wonder how hard relegation will hit them  Their finances are s*** as it is, and I think it's very very unlikely that they will get even near the promotion places. They can't afford to sack their manager and they don't have many/any valuable assets to sell. They're f***ed and I love it

I can certainly foresee a season of grief for them next year.

IMO they will start like Villa did (piss poorly) and may not have the guile of a Bruce to get them moving upwards.

Can't see them having much money other than the Pickford cash (10-15million?) and maybe a few sheckles for Defoe and Khazri (sp).

Hopefully they stick with Moyes for as long as they can as I think he will be a disaster.

Good times ahead for the tramps :)

Even if they get 10-15m for Pickford will they afford to use that money to spend on new players? Many of their players are close to wheel chair mode as well.

Isnt Defoe leaving on a free, no?
