I was saying the same thing last night. Everything he talks about is positive and building everything up. The difference between having a real winner in charge compared to the serial failure's we have had in the past, just makes everything feel good again. You have a few dates and things look positive (good performances/results), you hit a little snag by trying a risky joke (getting relegated) and hope you haven't ruined things, they then get back in touch and everything is fine. Now you're waiting for a few more dates, you have one special one in mind and they have agreed to stay at yours/you stay at theirs/hotel and seal the deal. Now all you have to do is go through your date and do things right and you get to hit a home run (win a trophy), in the mean time everything they say leaves you in awe. He's proven, time and again, that he's incapable of following a seemingly 'good' decision with another. He's nailed on to fuck this up. With two personalities as big as his and Rafa's, it's only a matter of time until there's a big fall out. Ashley will let him know who is the real boss at some point and Rafa will get the hump. huss9 Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 plenty of people i know got sucked into that whole "we aren't a big club anymore" and the "we cant compete with sovereign states" s*** that pardew spouted. they were turning on others that expressed that for the size of the club we should have had a lot more ambition and expectation. at last we have a manager who wont give a s*** about the party line and will be open about his ambitions and expectations for this club.
