In other words, he effectively fools everyone into thinking he intends to do things (improve our clubs achievements) when he really does not intend that at all. He will do as little as possible to try to maintain Premier League Status, for the money, that is all. Rafa has now learnt this, and he will (because he cares about the club and about us supporters) probably stay till the end of this season, then he will HAVE TO leave. Sky won't lose money. They don't agree PL deals for rights based on our fans. They would not like an empty SJP tho as for advertisers it taints the brand We're talking about the money from sky being more important to Mike than gate receipts. Not the running of sky itself. Even if the ground was empty the only people it would hurt would be the fans. Sky money would still keep coming, regardless. We were promised to be competitive in some form and to back Rafa when we bought season tickets.
