Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

Aaron Lennon apparently available.

On his day he was a great winger. Loves to cut in and shoot.

Pretty much similar to Andros.

I dont think he would come here

Doesn't Lennon do pretty much the opposite of cutting in and shoot?

He stays wide on his right foot and crosses into the box from the right side

I thought he was a goalkeeper tbh.

I'd argue that Gouffran is a better option from the left. Lennon has probably only played a handful of times on that flank throughout his career. I'm surprised that he has featured regularly for Everton this season tbh.. thought he wasn't even registered in the 25-man squad.

Rafa: "I'd like two to balance the team but I don't know if we will get one! The best thing for me is to wait and see what we do." #nufc

Is that a recent quote?

I think he's just said it in his press conference.

The radically changed view on Gouffran on this forum is interesting. And not the only one.

Not really. He's average in the Championship and utterly shite in the PL, think most people would still agree with this
