Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

It's going to cost a fuck load to replace him. We'll need someone for next season, then someone even better when we come back up. I'd sooner just keep him and trust Rafa to get the best out of him.

He'll put a transfer request in as soon as the tournament ends IMO.

he's gone and was gone regardless of if we stayed up or down.

BLACKBURN Rovers captain Grant Hanley is a major transfer target for Championship rivals Newcastle United.

But as of tonight Rovers were not considering an offer for the 24-year-old Scotland international from Rafa Benitez’s big-spending side.

Fine but at least we'll get our money's worth if that happens. Troy fucking Deeney is worth £25m according to the latest valuations. Maybe less after Brexit, although I doubt anyone gives a shit outside of Leicester.

Excited to see who we bring in as a replacement tbh. He has always been hot and cold but never reached his potential.  We might not easily replace his potential but we will replace him with someone that turns up more than not and contributes a lot more.

A fuck load to replace him?  Majority of last season he was either anonymous or actively sabotaged our play.  I'd say not having him in the side would have actually helped us stay up.

The journo Alan Nixon is reporting that we have had a bid of 3.5 million rejected for Hanley

Mark Douglas says they want at least £6 million. Rather we went elsewhere tbh.

Sure £6m would buy us that free scoring Flint cunt

For me Sissoko wouldn't be a huge loss to the team. He blows more cold than hot and no one seems sure of his best position and as a result his inclusion often unbalances the whole side.

Even when he's blowing hot and cold he's doing a job and he never goes missing. Managers like that sort of player, they can make a game plan around his type. The only reason I would sell is because after a few years here he wants to move on. Fine, but that has to be at a price that suits us, he signed the contract and it works both ways.

Bournemouth are close to signing Lewis Cook from Leeds United for £6m, with the midfielder set for a medical on Friday.

Eddie Howe has agreed a fee for the England Under-19 international, who has one year remaining on his contract. Leeds had been hopeful of agreeing new terms with Cook, whose progress has also been monitored by Crystal Palace.

With Cook set to depart, the Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has insisted he will resist interest in the club’s young left-back Charlie Taylor, despite the defender having entered the final year of his contract and offered no indication he intends to stay. Burnley and Middlesbrough are considering bids of around £5m. West Bromwich Albion are also suitors for the 22-year-old and Newcastle United, rebuilding under Rafael Benítez in the Championship, are monitoring the situation.

Might mean we're targeting a left back
