Heron
Half the people that complain probably spent the last 5 years complaining about the lack of atmosphere. English football is crying out for a bit more fan interaction and atmosphere.
Exiled in Texas
I was at a Hertha Berlin game in Olympiastadion and they have the big flags on flag poles - they lay them straight out in front across the running track when not waving them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
NUFCDoog
Thats gonna be the annoying thing - if youve got a couple of mardy bstards next to you its gonna be awkward laying the flag under your seat or whatever as its going to encroach onto their space. No biggie obviously but its gonna be a bit awkward. Looking forward to the display all the same, will hopefully be nice and loud as well.
Wallsendmag
Just hope this isn't an anti climax on the scale of Friday. It's going to be an amazing sight, and sound if it comes off; http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/half-hour-before-kick-saturday-11727505
Sir Toon
Personally I dont think it will be the spectacle we think it will because it will take time to get right. Id like to think of it more as a marathon than a sprint. Hopefully the fact that it wont be rocking like a German league game or some mad Turkish derby straight away wont be dissed by all and sundry as some sort of failure. The results and any momentum built will have to dictate the future of it.
Kaizero
Seems the design is for a pre match showing, will they stay tucked under the seats for the next 90? "Once flags have been used as part of the display before kick-off, supporters who volunteer to assist Gallowgate Flags are asked to roll up and store their flag underneath their seat ready for collection after full-time. In order to ensure other supporters do not have their views restricted during the game, the Gallowgate Flags group has asked that flags are not used during the 90 minutes." madras
If they are under seats it should be eaasy enough to wap them out should we score. Looking forward to this.

AyeDubbleYoo
Good point sir toon. 27 % in that article saying they won't take part in gallowgate flags. err why wouldn't you ? It's a stupid poll, they're just using that website function at random. You don't get there early enough, you sit in a different area, you aren't going at all, loads of reasons. mickthemagpie
Don't forget they are asking people to take scarves so these can be used during the game to replicate the Shearer testimonial game atmosphere.
Jill
Thats gonna be the annoying thing - if youve got a couple of mardy bstards next to you its gonna be awkward laying the flag under your seat or whatever as its going to encroach onto their space. When you turn up with a flag it might be worth just saying straight away that you'll not have it out to block their view for the match but you may need a hand to get it under the seat quickly, may help start off on the right foot. Foluwashola
You'd think everyone choosing to sit in the corner is there for the atmosphere like. Shouldn't be many complaints.
Stifler
I think scarfs are going to be handed out on Saturday. Another email from the club and at one point it says 'bring your flags, and hold your scarf'. They just seem to be making too much out of it, a number of emails, press publication etc, it seems like there will be something more than simply just having flags waving before the match. frankpingel
Hope club don't do anything, really I'm all for fans doing stuff like the flags off our own backs. Hate all the things orchestrated by clubs.
Figures 1-0 Football
As long as they don't hand out those awful clappers, I'm happy. Leicester's "great atmosphere" last season... *clap* *clap* *clap*.
