Altamullan
That miss ffs I blame myself... put him back into the starting line-up for my fantasy team He had a steady game to be fair.
afar
Funny thing was outside of that miss, he had a pretty darn good game.
TRon
Should have cleared that first header from the corner. I'm getting concerned that he's involved in a lot of the goals conceded lately.
Rich
Just think he's a bit out of his depth at this level - was prepared to let him off earlier in the season because of the amount of disruption there was at centre-back, but he's been in a settled pairing for a while now and is still struggling. I don't know if the rumours about Mangala were true, but you can see why Rafa would be pushing for getting him in. Clark, LeJeune and Mbemba have all been dodgy this season. Lascelles stands out like a sore thumb from that lot.
joeyt
Last season he seemed to find a good balance between clearing it into touch or passing it out from the back but it seems he always resorts to just clearing it now. Guess it's understandable as it's a tougher division but it's frustrating how he often can't keep the ball on the pitch

Guess it's understandable as it's a tougher division but it's frustrating how he often can't keep the ball on the pitch Then he'll have moments like he did at Man City and West Ham where he makes vital passes that lead to us scoring. I agree with the last few posts though. We have conceded too many now from him failing to stick to his marker and being outjumped due to bad timing. nemtizz
Sell back to Villa in the summer if they don't get promoted.
Andy
Shit for brains. I'm no fan of him, but the penalty was absolutely soft as fuck and his blocks at the end saved the point.
Guest alijmitchell
So unprofessional. Cost us 3 points.

Rich
He’ll be dropped for Man Utd and rightly so. Then I can start grumbling at Lejeune for being shite instead.
triggs
Not good enough but not going to call him a cunt or owt for doing the same thing every defender does
timeEd32
He’s not good enough but certainly not going to hang him for something every defender in the league does. Plus he saved us twice at the end.
Parky
Ciaran Joselu.

They never seem to get given except against us, but technically it's a pen so there's no excuse. Palace never looked like scoring from open play either, he'd have been better off letting Benteke head the ball over.
xLiaaamx
I think he's stolen Dummet-itis with his left foot. Treats it like a grenade.
Guest neesy111
Clark's been doing those tugs all season, was going to get one given against him at some point.
Guest
Like how £5m gets you a Joselu, it gets you a very good Championship/below average Premier League player. We shouldn't be surprised, that was his level at Villa. We just got our hopes up because all we saw week in-week out was the very good Championship defender. Was more out of hope about whether under Rafa he'd step up. See Yedlin, Hayden, Ritchie, Shelvey & Gayle.
Guest firetotheworks
Did what every defender does in that situation. Yes, a pen, but that being the case there are about 2 or 3 pens in every match.
xLiaaamx
We've got two defenders that cost more than him though that sit in the reserves/bench

Same for the rest bar Shelvey and Lascelles maybe.
