Newcastle Utd 1 - 2 Huddersfield Town - 13/08/16 - Post-match reaction from p24

Recommended Posts

We haven't even played anyone half decent yet, couldn't have asked for a gentler start. Fulham, Huddersfield, Reading. f*** me, we barely even look like we have a goal in us never mind a win. Disastrous and there are no excuses, we've brought players in but still desperately need width, creativity and forwards who know how to put the f***ing ball in the net. Oh and stop f***ing conceding seconds before half time you switched-off arseholes.

Has anyone seen any of this? Is it as bad as the scoreline suggests?

I doubt, it seems like most of the uber experts on here don't actually go to the game if today is anything to go by.

I'm not there because I'm abroad at the minute.

Aye, going to the game makes a big difference in your football knowledge.  Well known fact.

You've never been to a game have you?

Been to plenty.  Guess that means i'm a special football expert flower.

Well done.

What's a 'special football expert flower' by the way?

Terrible result. It's hard to say too much given I had to endure the radio coverage but it sounds like the rebuilding process isn't going to be achieved as soon as we'd hoped.

It's early days but the Reading game is pretty massive now.

If you don't know you haven't been to enough games.

We need new players and a new approach to games at this level. The traditional Benitez way won't work.

I agree with you but Burnley and Middlesbrough were both very workmanlike and defensive last season. Trouble is we're not even any good at that either.
