Thought it looked harsh as well, but that's a clear red in the replays. Studs up in the goalkeepers face.

 

GK is an outfield player at the time though as he's trying to head it, would you give that as a red if it was a defender going to head it. Mane is only looking at the ball, if it is red it's extremely harsh.

He's looking at the ball all the way, never a red, just a challenge for the ball

you can be looking at the ball "all the way" in a two footed lunge. It's still dangerous play and a clear red ffs :lol: Studs up direct into his cheek/neck

Same applies for most free-kicks no? Players usually look at the ball when challenging. I mean he's high up with the studs and catches the goalkeepers face. At first it didn't look that bad, but it's studs up in someones face. Probably broke his jaw by the looks of it as well.

You cant come to challenge studs first and kick a gk to head man..

Ball is there to be won. Had to go for it. Game has completely gone to the durgs

 

Howay man. Whether he's went for the ball or not, he's high and late. Clear red.
