Alberto2005 Posted Thursday at 18:20 Share Posted Thursday at 18:20 I think at times today he showed why we need better.
JigsawGoesToPieces Posted Thursday at 18:30 Share Posted Thursday at 18:30 Was MIA most of the game, hit the bar when he should of scored and his crossing and shooting was woeful. Yes he got an assist but isnt good enough, can we stop saying hes fine for RW or we will never progress.

Smal Posted Thursday at 18:40 Share Posted Thursday at 18:40 I don’t think you can consider the assists a fluke or anything but a result of his ability when it’s sustained like this. Just accept the brilliant creativity of Jacob Murphy and you’ll be much happier in life.

Shays Given Tim Flowers Posted Thursday at 18:45 Share Posted Thursday at 18:45 He’s an inconsistent player. If he could do his best consistently he’d be a phenomenal player. He can’t. We’re winning games and he’ll be replaced going forward. Just enjoy the ride.

There was a game, Wigan away in the 2010/11 season I think it was, he plucked the ball out of the sky beautifully and all he had to do was play an easy pass in behind which of course he messed up. Shak Posted Thursday at 18:56 Share Posted Thursday at 18:56 He's gonna be an excellent squad player for us for years to come. Ideal world we'll have a first choice RW and a talented young developmental prospect alongside Murphy there. Play the young lad when we feel it's a good scenario for him to get minutes in, while we can use Murphy when Eddie needs someone with a bit more experience. Murphy can also be a reliable option LW, while also being an emergency RB. Pleased for him the last few games, his general play has still been patchy but he's been productive. Lush Vlad Posted Thursday at 18:56 Share Posted Thursday at 18:56 He really is a strange player. I thought he was dreadful for an hour. Like 4 or 5 out of 10 bad. Then gets his customary assist and looked like he’d score or assist with every attack after that

Holloway Posted Thursday at 19:39 Share Posted Thursday at 19:39 Due a shit game and was duly delivering but well, an assist. His left peg os almost as bad as Miggy's right
St. Maximin Posted Thursday at 21:23 Share Posted Thursday at 21:23 19 goals/assists in 36 games. Doesn’t do much apart from score and create goals, but something about what the Romans ever did for us spring to mind…

The College Dropout Posted Thursday at 21:34 Share Posted Thursday at 21:34 He gets goals and assists. Can’t deny that. And happy for him. Some of his general play is bad but I’ll take it if he keeps coming up with the results.
RobsonsWonderland Posted Thursday at 22:06 Share Posted Thursday at 22:06 From the corner I sit in it looked like Trippier would opt to pass inwards rather than pass down the line to Murphy. Once we did use him it allowed Isak into the game as Murphy always looks to feed him. No other winger in our squad is as unselfish and I bet Isak prefers to have him on the right
TRon Posted Thursday at 22:52 Share Posted Thursday at 22:52 Good game for him to have an off day tbh. Against good opposition you get found out if your touch isn't sure, and that's how it was going for the first half hour, then when they got a man sent off, it took the pressure off and he improved. It was a good cross for the assist.
Aiston Posted Thursday at 23:08 Share Posted Thursday at 23:08 His great goals are absolutely evened out by the insane misses like the crossbar today or the miss from half a yard open goal last season

He has replaced Almiron. Now we need a quality starting RW. The likes of Sanusi and Harrison will hopefully come through as backup beyond that.
