But Brentford said "no, take that"

He now earns 200 grand a week

And when Brentford goes down

He'll still earn that every week.

Looks like a lot of teams we’re gunning for are strengthening in at least equal measure. Was always going to be the case with a reported 100m transfer budget.

Still see us finishing mid-table next season; at some point in the (hopefully) near future though, I hope we’ll be able steal a march on teams like West Ham, Villa, Wolves and Leicester, then- again hopefully- moving on to compete with the likes of Arsenal and Spurs.

Something cool about Cristian Bassedas signing Diego Godin for Velez Sarsfield. One of my favourite defenders of the last 10-12 years.

Proper defensive warrior like Chiellini.

Jesus will be great for Arsenal, but as folk have said far too many strong sides in the league for them to be top 4 again.

For a team that’s not finished in the top four in the last six seasons, they don’t half spend a lot of money. More in net spend over the last four years than any Premier League club is this is to be believed:

Yeah, liked that Uruguay side of the early-mid 2010s.

Also think we should get on the blower to Bassedas and get some sort of link with Velez Sarsfield to help us in the South American market.
