Not sure if it has already been said, but is it true that any team that qualified for Europe could only have 5 years of amortization fee, while teams outside of the European competitions like Chelsea can still do more?

Well as long as they are outside of Europe yes, but presumably they want back in Europe and at that point their accounts need to comply with UEFAs rules.

Uefa comps have the 5 year rule.  Pl won’t introduce that until next year. No idea but other league rules.

So they made that rule because Chelsea was abusing the system, and it ended up punishing their competitors instead, and not them (aka helping them)..:lol:
