Other clubs' transfers

Didn’t know you could sign with a consortium.

Won’t be long before they argue that Chelsea and Strasbourg players are completely interchangeable. Because they’re all technically “BlueCo” employees.

That pair of Twitter freaks cracking on like it's just completely normal stuff. Hideous. This has been a transfer window for the ages, like. One of the worst I can remember.

Assume you mean Ornstein and Romano? This is probably their best window ever, they are fucking snakes making a living off of top teams buying the best players from other teams.

If the above sentence wasn't enough to make you fucking detest them, then think about how they get their information from the only people in football that are even worse than them; the agents.

Fuck Ornstein and fuck Romano, the pair of absolutely detestable cunts that they are.

Arsenal are a CL team taking one of Crystal Palace’s best players. You’re a CL team taking one of Nottm Forest’s best players. CL teams will take players from sides not in the CL, because they have more money and it’s an attractive proposition. That will always be there.

We can have all kinds of discussions about multiclub ownership, PSR, nation-state ownership etc etc, but clubs higher up the table buying players from clubs lower down the table is always going to be a thing and is what you were ultimately pointing out.

Edit: the anomaly there is Man U, but they have always had a ton of money with their revenue. I’m genuinely curious to see how that changes this year.

It fluctuated though. Not the same 5+1 clubs in that distinct hierarchical unassailable pecking order indefinitely irrespective of on field performances.

It’s fucking hilarious how we’re made out to be the bad guys in football and the ones no one wants to do business with. When in reality, the vast majority of other clubs are either directly or indirectly working to destroy the game on a daily basis

Boils me that the same people that pretend to care about the game when it comes to stopping non-cartel clubs spending money don't even blink at players signing for Blueco, hoovering up of decent players from the organ bank clubs by the cartel, selling hotels and women's teams to yourself or the state Sheffield Wednesday are in.

Effortlessly roles off the tongue.

I hope this fucking shill gets lifted by the way.

My bet is he'll not play a fucking minute for Chelsea. He'll be bombed out on loan until he's pedaled for twice the money.

All feels a bit like the end sequence of Requiem for a Dream.

Fast forward a few years, we end up having to sell Miley to Brighton for £30m. Who sells him to Strasbourg where he never plays. Villa end up having to buy him for £90m and Newcastle just start accepting point deductions for overpaying for players from League One, the only semi-viable market not captive to the cartel.

It's just they've spent huge sums on a regular basis and it never gets mentioned

They are treated like plucky underdogs.

I think he's a very overrated manager. Sent them from 7th to 2nd with a net spend of £1.2B.

Glasner has won more trophies with a shoe string and he gets his best players sold every window.

What a terrible decision by Enciso too. Why go spend a year or so in a lesser league when you’re already a starter in the PL?

He’s just had a weak season. It’s cash in time on the contract as the pathway is closed off at Brighton and stock only going to fall lower.

Lads I can recommend non/lower league to get away from all this shite.

It's shit because I love the club, history and the actual football, but business is murdering the enjoyment.

The off-the-pitch stuff is so offputting. Transfer window closing will help somewhat but this is all getting rather unsustainable for the other 14.

It's a shame the 14 are highly unlikely to unite as clubs or as fans to protest PSR.

Would love for Egbahli, Boehly and co to be locked in a room with a Xenomorph. Fucking horrific hypercapitalists who deserve to be violently ended.

Just was having this convo... was explaining to my wife why the match on Monday was gonna be so firey.  Hadn't explained the Isak saga.

She replied that football sounded like a money laundering enterprise not fit for purpose.

Shes just started a new job and she said 'isn't that like me not working, and saying pay me more or i wont work' - its true it doesnt make any sense. Football has gone mad... I want to stop following but it's hard!

She also said 'put him on 45k a year and see how he feels then'.

They won't need the test as he's not permanently signing anywhere else after he joins BlueCo. Brighton aren't a related party.

There doesn't need to be a fee if he goes from Strasbourg to Chelsea? I don't understand.
