I'd rather have Haaland in my team. Much stronger, much better in the air, actually fights for the team, less selfish despite his goal numbers etc.. Feels like there's a conception that Mbappe is a more complete player just because he can both dribble and score, but then we ignore som many other factors. Mbappe has more talent. But Haaland plays within the confines of his ability. Mbappe doesn’t which means Haaland is a much better fit for a team.
Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 06:21 Share Posted yesterday at 06:21 06/07 took some time to win but that front 6 was tasty.

Leemond Posted yesterday at 09:51 Share Posted yesterday at 09:51 He won't take a wage cut, bloke is talented but doesn't give a solitary fuck about the game anymore.

geordie_b Posted yesterday at 09:57 Share Posted yesterday at 09:57 Been convinced for a long time that he will end up here, just like I was with Patrick Kluivert decades ago. No chance it happens with his current wage demands though
CallumG6 Posted yesterday at 10:12 Share Posted yesterday at 10:12 Now he's in the WC squad, he'll give even less of a fuck next season. Steer well clear of this fella.

GeordieDazzler Posted yesterday at 10:19 Share Posted yesterday at 10:19 That reads like Barca wanting to do the loan deal again. Knowing player will likely want to stay and Man U will find it hard to find a buyer for him.
The Butcher Posted yesterday at 10:19 Share Posted yesterday at 10:19 Stinks of Villa imo.
Kimbo Posted yesterday at 10:20 Share Posted yesterday at 10:20 He’s a dangerous signing for how much he gets paid. He could easily turn up and not put in the effort, especially at a non-ESL club.

He's offered to take a 40-50% reduction in salary to sign for Barca permanently, don't let the truth get in the way of attacking his character though! I wonder how much different the media's portrayal of him would be if he hadn't dared to stray out of his lane and call out the cunt politicians who actually couldn't give a solitary fuck about the people they are meant to serve. It's unfathomable to me the amount of hatred towards him from so many in this country, I just can't fathom why the fuck that is...
TheInfiniteOdyssey Posted yesterday at 10:34 Share Posted yesterday at 10:34 I'd love Rashford here honestly, provided the financials involved were sensible.

It's not possible to make the financials sensible if we are being honest. Even at half his current salary he'd be one of our top earners, when you factor in you have to pay a fee as well it's a massive risk. Let's not forget he's essentially a passenger in the defensive phase as well.
Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 10:39 Share Posted yesterday at 10:39 No-one will offer him over £150k I doubt, so it's stay at Man Utd, go out on loan each season then go for free, or get himself a nice 5-year deal somewhere on a still very good wedge, and settle. Hes also 29 this year so not sure if a 5 year deal would be sensible for anyone adding to the wage he was used to getting. The fee seems reasonable on the face of it but can see why barca are not biting.

Optimistic Nut Posted yesterday at 10:44 Share Posted yesterday at 10:44 I didn't realise that he was 29 now and last year of contract. Still see him as 25 with years left.
HawK Posted yesterday at 10:46 Share Posted yesterday at 10:46 It wouldn't surprise me at all if Spurs went for him as part of an over-correction to spend more money on 'top tier players' having not made football/on-the-pitch decisions a priority recently according to their quotes a few weeks ago. He'd add even more stench to that dressing room / squad, so I'm all for it.
