The PL is a high level of competition. But he's only at Wham for money and London is a nice city to be rich in. Wham are unlikely to win any trophies so he's literally just there for money and to compete in a good division. There's still a chance he could get another crack at the "big time" in Europe which might interest him ala Shaqiri but time isn't on his side.

I couldn't begrudge him a move to China.

£2m after taxes, i'd need to work again without substantial money to fund a large-scale business.

You'd have to be on £50k a year for 50 years to earn that amount after tax.  Also because you'd have that cash in the bank you could easily earn at least 4k+ a year in interest, probably a lot more in future.

According to the Sun, Fulham have rejected a whopping £50m bid from Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande for Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The story insists that Fulham are ‘desperate’ to hang onto the Serbian – which is no surprise given he’s their top scorer – however it’s said that he ‘could be tempted’ to leave given the huge money on offer in China.

According to reports in Germany, Kevin Mbabu is edging closer to a move to Bundesliga side Schalke – with Young Boys looking so sell for €15m (£13.5m).

Considering it was recently revealed that we received just £106,000 when sanctioning his return to Switzerland in the summer of 2017, this really it looking like more and more of a big mistake from Benitez.

Batshuayi recalled by Chelsea.  Can see him going to Palace

Everton apparently

Oh my goodness. Great signing for them.

Richarlison seems far more comfortable on the left and they've really lacked someone leading the line.

Man ... remember Ben Arfa scoring that stunner against them early on? Pretty sure their striker was Steven Naismith that day.

That version of Steven Naismith probably starts for us today. Incredible.

In China, though. What a horrible place to ply your trade.

 I'd probably sack it off because fuck living in China, but I wouldn't begrudge the financial aspect of it.

The Chinese can be proud of their country as it has been voted Best Country in the World last night (Thursday January, 10) during the annual WCA ceremony. The Chinese people were also voted Nicest people on the planet.

More than a hundred prizes have been awarded during the 2019 World Countries Awards, the most prestigious international award ceremony in the world. A night to remember for the people of China as they swept nearly all the awards available.

Historic Win For China

The Chinese team could hardly hide its excitement as the celebrations went on. “Are we surprised? Not really”, Chinese Team leader told the journalist, speaking just after receiving the award for Most Humble People In The World.

It turns out that due to a tiny logistical concern, only votes from the Chinese judges has been counted. However, Chinese organizers emphasized that the issue could not have had any impact on the final outcome.
