Other clubs' transfers

He has been on a downward slope for the last six months, but most put that down to fatigue and wanting away from Arsenal.

Yeah true, was a bit like Torres in that respect where he'd levelled off a bit before a big transfer. Still crazy how shit he's been at Man Utd though.

not really surprising when you look at his summers from 2014-2017; 2014 world cup, 2015 copa america, 2016 copa america 2017 confederations cup, dude has basically little to no rest time for 4 years thats going to take a toll on a player

He'd been shite for Inter as well but since return from lockdown has been vastly improved. Tim Vickery had been saying he was due to fall off a cliff with the amount of football in his legs for a while before it actually happened.

If my basic maths is right he's averaging 50ish appearances a season since he made his debut according to Wiki. Well over 700 appearances at the age of 31. Ridiculous.

Still one of my favourite players over the last decade mind.

The Torres decline was extraordinary.

From The Guardian, personal terms agreed for Sancho

Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are close to agreeing a fee for Jadon Sancho, with the England forward having agreed personal terms on a five-year contract at Old Trafford.

Both clubs are understood to be confident a deal to make Sancho the most expensive English player in history is nearing completion, with United expected to pay an initial €100m fee (£90m) over three annual instalments and a further €20m in performance-related add-ons

Fucking hate football right now. Just need Liverpool to poach Foden then I’m done.

£560k a week. Surely thats not real? :lol:

It's not, and Sky report a different wage with every Sanchez story. :lol: he's on £400k a week and always has been. Whilst he's been on loan we've been paying £220k and Inter £180k.

I think he could've earned 560k a week if he meet all the conditions in his contract, which he obviously has not.

City always seem to get their business done fairly sharpish almost every other club around could take a lesson or two from that though I suppose it is easier with a blank cheque

Aye. Negotiations tend to unfold quicker when they run along the lines of;

"Just fill in the salary and sign at the bottom"
