Anyway at one of the magpie group meetings I got talking to Caulkin, he seemed to be under the impression that she would be back this summer. I think her interview she did in a Middle Eastern newspaper a couple of months ago back up those claims as well. We will see, as ever, it will only come down to if the fat cunt really wants to sell. Theirs plenty of suitors out there for us, just need to shift the elephant in the room, quite literally. As has been the case for a decade now sadly. If he has any business sense he’d sort out a deal in the next few weeks and sell before the summer window opens, allowing him to maximize his pricing. Hell he should even be getting all approvals within the city to expand ground or develop new training ground etc. make it easier for the buyer to step in and not discount him. That’s about 1 competent PL player per window. To be fair nobody really spends money anymore in January unless clubs are in danger of relegation. Its still a small amount to spend though over 2 seasons. Did we not spend around £40 million in the summer after promotion yet the budget only goes up by £10 million after 2 years in the Premier League?
