Figures 1-0 Football
A sad state of affairs that the majority (myself included) are expecting a loss at home to fucking Leicester. They are quite a good side to be fair. They are, but at home we should be hopeful of beating anyone outside the top 6 really as the quality outside of that is relatively evenly spread. I hope we get the Leicester that turned up for the second half at West Ham, as they were dreadful. Sadly, they’ll all be on top form and we’ll lose. Rich
Darlow Yedlin Lascelles Clark Dummett Atsu Hayden Shelvey Murphy Merino Gayle Better still would be Merino/Shelvey with Mitro and Gayle up top and natural wingers (swap Atsu/Murphy)

Wallsendmag
They're quite a bit better than we are so I'm expecting another defeat. Hopefully the extra drinking time has it's usual effect on the noise levels and, along with the various displays planned, the atmosphere inspires the players to find that bit extra. 0-
Mistle17
Would be tempted to play this like an away match, tactically. If we go 4-4-2 in possession I fear they will absolutely tear us apart on the break. Especially if they play the channels well like Bournemouth/Watford did. Trouble is, we don't have an effective AM who can play off the Striker, so if we do go with our strongest MF (which he won't) in a 3 of Hayden, Shelvey, Merino, they aren't the sort of players to play off the ST....they like getting it off people and playing forward passes in behind/switching the play, recycling the ball etc. Main thing against these is that we don't leave ourselves open on the counter, and learn to fucking defend crosses. TRon
He was OK against Chelsea in general other than for their goal, he looked more assured than Lejune and Clarke IMO who were all over the place. You mean except for the most important bit!! Aye the other 2 were probably worse but he wasn't great. Well yeah, the other two were worse. So what point were you making exactly? HaydnNUFC
Neil Swarbrick's the ref. Was ref when we stuffed West Ham. Hopefully it's a good omen. Martin Atkinson is ref for our match vs Everton.

triggs
He was pretty inconsistent, but I think we've missed Atsu more than I ever thought we would. Aye. People underestimate how important just having a player who can carry the ball up the pitch is, end product or no end product

Fenham Mag
Games like this used to petrify me when a player like Vardy was up against Coloccini - it was a guaranteed hiding.

Agreed, I think some have a view of him that he is wasteful with the ball, but in fact he seems to focus on retaining possession and does so successfully a lot of the time.
