r0cafella
Because he’s probably still the second best keeper at the club and it’s poor form to take someone’s squad number?
ExiledGeordie
I still can’t work out the deal with the Greek fella? 😂 Did he come in purely as part of some PSR thing and now they’re sending him out on loan? So Dubravka stays as number 2? Edited August 21 by ExiledGeordie

We needed Anderson to be the make weight to solve our FFP issues, if not a heavy hitter would have to been sold (Likely Gordon).
andycap
Noticed Trafford never played for burnley at the weekend just gone wasn't on the bench either. I'd give him to Burnley plus money for Trafford.

gbandit
Aww, that’s a sweet message. I like old Dubs even though he’s a shadow of his former self with the gloves. Hope he can find a club
khay
Aye. Probably his looking at his last playing contract. Hopefully he gets something sorted and can be first choice if he wants to play.
Guest
I once saw him buying a BBQ at Dobbies in Gosforth Park. He was out injured at the time. He locked eyes, I could tell he knew who I was as he gave a respectful nod. I returned it and allowed him to carry on buying his BBQ.

Collage
I've always liked Dubs, in fact I'd say he's my all-time favourite NUFC keeper after Shay Given, or up there at least. You tend to forget past achievements quickly. Pavel Srnicek is a Newcastle cult figure but I'd say he was responsible for a fair share of howlers, possibly more than Dubs. Shays Given Tim Flowers
When he first came in he had such an immediate impact for the side.

I don’t remember him making loads of massive howlers. Apart from Luton or Bournemouth I think it was last season. When he let it under his foot. Plus two horrendous mistakes against Spain. I’m just regularly thinking he should be saving certain shots and he gets nowhere near them. He collapses all the while and that stat about shots to his right hand side was pretty telling. Throw in the fact we’ve had Pope playing as a sweeper since joining. That side of his game has been really magnified as a weakness, too. When it wasn’t an issue before Howe came. He was decent for us before the knee injury and before we upgraded on him/started playing with a different type of keeper. But I thought he looked rubbish last season. Holloway
howay Dubs, you can do it
soyt
Few mistakes i can understand, but it just seems that he is not able to simply save the shots he used to. (Maybe the same goes with Pope tbh) I would try and play Big Vlachodimos, i dont think he is any worse than Dubs these days - but we all know that Eddie starts Dubs.
