His engine is broken, watching him jog back after Bruno lost the ball leaving 2 players open right infront of him was just sad.

I'm trying to be kind. He gets in good positions to score as well, but doesn't usually score.

Since he's came back from injury he's been absolutely honking

I guess he's had to go straight in when fit and not had the luxury of being able to gradually ease his way back into the side

He doesn't seem to be doing as much off the ball as he was earlier in the season and he looks worse than ever on the ball

Was like he was at deaths door for the foul on Rodri outside our box. So tired his legs just collapsed underneath him and he fell into Rodri rather than trying to tackle the ball. Farcial that he stayed on the whole game. Literally any person on our bench would have done better past the 60 minute mark.

We have also had plenty of enough time to bring in a backup/replacement.

The need to bring in a CM has been obvious ever since Tonali got suspended.

Defended him to the hilt but honestly agree, he's been bang average since November.

He's so lackadaisical on the ball and seems even more half-arsed chasing back. Lad gives hi all, but it's not good enough.

We desperately need some pace and physicality in the middle in my opinion, especially with Big Jo being out.

Lewis is a kid and his time will come, Bruno is fantastic but pretty one-paced. Longstaff is just very very limited and the weakest link.

Priority needs to be another midfielder this month, on loan, or purchased, whatever it takes.

It's the time to make unpopular decisions. Sell him for £25m and release £75m of new FFP signings. Miley can easily replace him and we  have JoeL, Tonali and Anderson who can also play there.

Who you reckons buying him for £25m?

Burnley, Everton, and any of the three promoted clubs next season. He's an English proven CL player ?

I was about to post about what a tragic footballer he’s turned into, just before he scored. And then straight after scoring, he reverted to type for the rest of the game. He needs a long spell on the bench.

He did some great work all game off the ball and his late runs really helped us create some problems against them. Scored as well a fine finish. Struggle to see how he can be criticised tonight, was one of our best players

The goal was an excellent finish, take nothing away from him. But our central midfield is our biggest weakness at the moment and Sean’s lack of composure on the ball cost us possession a number of times tonight. We’re trying to be a team that retains the ball, and watching him on that basis is frustrating.

The whole team were awful on the ball tonight though until the last fifteen mins. I agree that it’s a fundamental issue going forward and that technically he isn’t good enough to start for us if we want to be a top six team consistently. However, tonight, I thought he was better than he’s been at any time since he came back

He's there to miss them!

Had to laugh when he beat Bruno in a foot race to defend a counter over 50 or so yards. Must've taken them 30 seconds to cover the distance, time almost stopped.

Obviously should have scored but tiredness must have played a part in that aswell.

We've seen enough of his finishing over the years to know the answer on that mind :lol;
