It's classic Ashley's NUFC to spend top whack on a striker, who doesn't score goals.

Real questions need to be asked of what the fuck the scouting network has been doing.

If we had him playing off Rondon in the Perez role we might have seen a different player.

I've given up trying to second guess what these vacant fucking cunts think anymore. Little if anything makes any fucking sense other than them taking their cut. Ashley, Charnley, Bruce, the lot of them. Only out to feather their nests.

Bruce making these comments on Joelinton is not smart on any level.

All the more disgusting, because he is massively culpable for Joelinton being this ineffective.

I really hope this pisses MA off, as he is tanking the value of a player that was just bought for £40 million.

Within a week of Steve Bruce's appointment, the club broke their transfer record and spent £40m on the Brazilian. Bruce and his staff were already aware of what Joelinton could do, having watched him play for Hoffenheim at Man City last season, and were encouraged by his pre-season performances.

If he hadn't been so desperate to show what a good little lapdog he was he wouldn't have this problem. The utterly fucking shit patsy cunt.

Joelinton is not an out and out striker/goalscorer so I am going to play him as an out and out striker/goalscorer every game.

That's management of the highest order

He either doesn't have the bollocks to drop him (or he's being told not to drop him), or its in his (Joelintons) contract that he has to start every game, unless unavailable.

Surely the only reason he'd keep playing a player who is clearly rock bottom in confidence and shows very little strikers instinct??

He knows throwing Joelinton under the bus will be popular with the matchgoers who not only despise his very being but are furious that he is paid a wage.

Depressing but true. In which case Bruce might as well chuck him under the bus, at least he'll keep the fans onside.

Bruce bit while discussing Joelinton

"We were hoping that he could go and get 10-12 goals this season. It’s very difficult for anyone in the Premier League to hit the 20 mark - unless you’re a [Craig] Bellamy or an [sergio] Aguero. I think it’s been a big learning curve for him.

Bellamy?! Never got 20 goals at all!

The heck is wrong with this guy man. Imagine mentioning Bellamy and Aguero in the same sentence. Of all the strikers?! Not Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Shearer ... nah, Bellamy!

Bellamy is the 47th highest goalscorer in Premier League history and scored double figures twice in his career (10 with us and 13 with Blackburn). Bruce could literally have said Campbell, Davies, Yakubu or Beattie and still been closer to the point he was trying to make.

There's an article on The 'Bruceicle' website by Gabby Agbonlahor, stating how good a job he thinks Bruce has done at NUFC.

And yet the likes of Douglas suggest theres no pro-Bruce agenda from former Thomson House.

“Steve Bruce has done unbelievable this season at Newcastle," Agbonlahor told ChronicleLive on behalf of Bet O'Clock.

"When you go to a club who doesn’t have the best quality of players, are you going to play expansive football like Norwich City and effectively be down by Christmas?

"He has gone into Newcastle thinking that he needs to make them hard to beat, putting the three centre-backs in the team, and win games by beating sides on the counter-attack and it has worked for him so far.

"He has done really well with the team that he has got. If you look at his front three, he will be thinking how well he has done considering their lack of quality.

"Miguel Almiron, he can’t hit a barn door, Saint-Maximin acts like he is playing in a school playground, doing tricks in the wrong places and Joelinton has been dreadful. Steve Bruce has done a magnificent job.”

He's an obnoxious, odorous, useless, ill informed, deceiving, lying cunt. How much he paid to write this complete work of fiction?

....and the Chronicle puts this shit out??????????????????

I despair.

Wait, Bruce has done a good job because 2 of the players he openly stated he was happy with are shit?

Is there another manager in the league who gets defended like this?

It's just incredible isn't it? How does he get away with it? When will journos start telling it as it is??
