Lenny Posted May 16, 2022 Share Posted May 16, 2022 We're pressing and winning the ball higher up the pitch, and with Bruno's assertive and quick passing ASM is able to run at the opposition when they aren't quite so organised, as is usually the case when he picks the ball up for us. Unsurprisingly he's causing them trouble. I think he'll come good as we improve as a team. He's looked like he's trying to be more smart with the ball too with a couple of sensible passes. He linked up brilliantly in the first quarter of the game and did everything I’ve been desperate for him to do. Didn’t win the game on his own, but we’ve won it as a team. More of this please. Got his head up first, before then deciding what to do with the ball, rather than just going straight into dribbling with his head down. He looked so much better man, and it was allowing him to move into better positions higher up the pitch, and then go at the opposition full back where he had more space to torment them.
