This is how much I am out of the loop and just not caring about football under ashley. I didnt even realise Pochettino was no longer Spurs manager until last night when I saw a Mourinho interview.

Trial begins today in Turkey, I can’t see any announcement whilst this is going on tbh.

Was thinking exactly this

Just came up on the news as I was reading/typing on here. I absolutely abhor the thought of proper journalists who try to uncover corruption getting murdered. Reminds me of the Panama Papers story which has lost traction after that journalist got killed.

It has nothing to do with it.

Not as such but in this age of dead cat PR I imagine the optics of announcing anything alongside this would look pretty sledgehammer and obvious.

It has nothing to do with the D&O test and that's what the Premier League have to go on.

OK,  I'll let the Daily Mail, know they can't run a headline like 'While trial of dismembered journalist starts the FA approve Saudi takeover - what cunts!!!!'

They should be amenable given their history

As if Pochettino would touch Benfica anyways

They'd be the biggest club he's managed by some distance.

I mean right now though. They're a big club but I think his sights are set much higher.

I want this takeover to happen, however it’s all about the optics.

You do that, it still has nothing to do with the D&O test though

They can only go by the test otherwise they are going to leave themselves open for a massive lawsuit
