Burnley have had 1 free kick tonight, what a fucking boring joke of a team, the bottom 3 are a boring joke, Palace are, Newcastle  Southampton and Brighton are, yet pundits still preach that we should be happy with our position.

Dyche has done wonders, Hodgson continues to defy the odds, Bruce has done amazing under difficult circumstances.......fuck off, they are a boring bunch of cowards with limited coaching ability that are protected by dumb ass pundits and Sky's fascination on keeping the top 6 the top 6.

Rant over..........I think I've overloaded on football over the past year, couple of weeks break should calm me down.

Fuck sake. Liverpool in the CL now barring a calamity at home to Palace. Totally undeserved after the shit they've served up this year - all with a thick slathering of self-entitlement. Cunts.

They fully deserve it.  Be crying shame to see Liverpool not in the champions league

I really wonder which ones, if any, of the shite going-nowhere mob between 12th and 17th are going to do something notably more impressive next season? Sustained appearance in the top half, maybe a Euros charge? Think it's impossible to predict really; you'd think at least one or two out of WHU/Leeds/Villa/Everton will revert to type or have a stinker, therefore opening the door, but there's just so much crap in the mire we share, you really wonder how we're going to have anything but a very similar season next year. Particularly considering no one is going to be investing much.

another country completed

If completed means going to a team that wins everything and them steadily getting worse every season you're there then yes

He has just scored 36 goals in 44 as a 35/36 year old.

Juve have been ran incredibly poor recently. Some terrible recruitment and managerial appointments that haven't made any sense. Midfield is so bad for what is supposed to be one of the top sides in Europe too.

Ronaldo has been good for them, I don't think anyone can deny that. But they gambled on him being able to carry them to a Champions league irrespective of cost and it's backfired. They've created a huge problem for themselves where their best player doesn't really suit the style of play they've been trying to move towards with Sarri and now Pirlo and and they've had to cut corners elsewhere recruitment wise to afford him. Tactically and financially Ronaldo is a burden on them despite how many goals he's scored, but it's a bit daft to try and pin the blame on him.

Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus:Seasons: 3  Games: 133  Goals: 101 Assists: 22

Incredible juve wouldn't be the top 6 without him this season, juve messed up appointing pirlo who has never managed a game before

Well done. Barely any against good teams and his team has gone from 1st to 5th

Nothing to do with hiring a manager with zero experience? Lets blame it on Ronaldo, back to back Serie A player of the year who's about to win the Capocannoniere at an absolute canter with 29+ goals.

Absolutely ridiculous viewpoint.

It's more to do with signing Ronaldo at the expense of the rest of the team than Pirlo. They were already in a steep decline before this season getting knocked out by Ajax and Lyon in consecutive seasons in the CL after being in the top 3 or 4 teams in Europe for however many years before that and not winning the Coppa Italia in his first 2 seasons after winning 4 in a row before that

To add to that wasn't he injuried a fair chuck of this season? Or was that last? I still remember people saying he won't find it as easy scoring past teams in Italy just to the defence eliminate

It's not fair to use previous success of a team as judgement against a new player, especially one who has come in and fired in a ridiculous amount of goals. No team stays at the top forever, there's issues all over that Juve squad that have been lingering for years.

Of course it is fair. The team has got demonstrably worse year on year since he joined. If they'd spent his 100 million fee and 32 million a year wages on refreshing the team they'd be better off. There is absolutely no doubt about it.

Instead they built their team around Ronaldo to the detriment of on pitch results. At least he's finally managed to beat out Quagliarella and Immobile to the top scorer award though. Happy days for the brand.
