Kaizero
I think we’ve got the best squad in Europe after France at the moment. Hmmm. Pickford Thinking the same
Kaizero
Also wouldn't put that squad in my top five national sides in Europe, I think. Not looked too much into it.
triggs
There's not much between France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and England. Italy, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Croatia probably in the next tier
Guest
Has Pickford ever let England down? Different kettle of fish playing international football to club football. Same goes for Maguire.

Guest
Honestly thought he’d Allardyce his way out of trouble, or at least have them competing to survive but it’s not happened. They lack quality massively, mind. One of the weakest squads I’ve seen at this level. Can only do so much.

STM
Did anyone else hear Wilder talking about his conversation with Allardyce? He said, "Big Sam and I were just discussing how too much emphasis is placed on a manager, sometimes it's just about how much desire a player has," or such bollocks. It was frightening. I don't think Chelsea fans would agree, they looked so clunky with Lampard but so different under TT, like a well oiled machine
Guest neesy111
Poor managers always use player effort as an excuse for their own failings.

gbandit
What a dick man, turning into Mourinho behind the mic. I remember when everything went Mourinho’s way and he was all laughs, dropping abstract metaphors then became an absolute twat when his fortunes changed. Hopefully we’ll see more of that from Klopp

Yorkie
There's elements of his passion, ambition and desire that I admire, and to some extent I can stomach him being prickly in interviews when he's lost because that's all part of being a serial winner. But I wonder if I'm more lenient it to because I support/am used to a club where there is, at most, only a facade of ambition, and so any meaningful passion at all feels aspirational, regardless of how it's shown. Klopp was just totally fucking disrespectful there tbh; taking his own team's failings out on some poor reporter from a non-domestic station, and whom he clearly had no respect for. Poor bloke was just trying to do his job as well as any other person in thy stadium, and there was nothing wrong with his question either. Clearly a lack of professional respect. Tit.
