He doesn't even make a nuisance of himself. The defenders have it so easy with him. Relentless. Please just watch him. It's infuriating. Then you have Wilson chasing everything and competing for every ball, making the defenders life a misery. That's what a forward should be doing. Joelinton can't be arsed with all that. TRon Posted December 16, 2020 Share Posted December 16, 2020 Defensive formation and general defensive approach to each game, the thing I find most annoying has to be the passive attitude once we win possession. The players take two or three touches every time and then get closed down and end up hoofing it clear in desperation, so what should be a stage of us putting them under pressure invariably ends up with them coming at us instead. Perhaps you don't pay attention. Not singling out at all. Longstaff is shit, Lewis is awful and I'm bewildered at Murphy being right back/wingback. Wilson and Clarke have been decent. Oh and ....... We’re playing 4-5-1 Is that why Joelinton is just deeper than Wilson and we can’t get close to any of the Leeds players because of that flat line of midfielders across the pitch? 4-4-1-1 then. A good beating might be the only way to put an end to this park the bus philosophy.
