Everton 0-2 Newcastle United - 30/01/21

This does underline just how woeful Bruce is. He's getting so little out of a competent squad to the point that perception is that it's a poor squad. It really isn't - we have weak areas, but we shouldn't be struggling at all.

Everton are actually making Hendrick look like a player.

Funny thing is when he joined he said his best position was on the right side of a middle 3 in midfield.

Today is the first time he's played there since he joined

Apparently Steve Bruce has 'found' Almiron's position playing through the middle

Everyone has only been talking about this for over a year on here. This better not end up with Bruce getting any kind of credit. My God

If we continue to play like this, pick up some results, I’m happy for Bruce to be praised after he’s been fucked off by the new owners. Let him get another job in the PL.

“Steve Bruce has found Almiron’s position.” The twat has been playing him out of position since he’s been here. He’s always been an attacking mid and played more centrally FFS.

Been really surprised at the workrate, the formation and how high up the pitch we are pressing. Jones’ instructions. It’s the only explanation.

Time for Hayden's lie down.

Guaranteed every game.

Commentator 100% believes Hayden doesn't go down without needing treatment much at all

For someone that gets stuck in and is probably the closest we have to a midfield ‘hard man’. He doesn’t half spend a lot of time on the deck!

Pressing has been better and we’ve looked a bit more solid but we’ve been competitive at best. Everton have been absolutely shite mind this game would be there for the taking for most other clubs.
