It's a better squad than the one Rafa had and it's finished comfortably mid table last year even under Bruce, despite large spells being shit and worrying. It's a very bad start, but with better management and coaching this squad can finish mid table fine without the drama of last season flirting down the bottom during winter. With a great coach and a few key signings I'm January, in particular two proper centre midfielders, we can at least get up to 50% possession based football and start have a more consistent set of performances. If you spend two years playing 30% possession defensively and barely registering shots at goal across every 90 mins, then it becomes engrained in these players to not be expected to play with possession and control games, or even manage games we are ahead in.
