Kid Icarus
If he can consistently reach those 22/23 levels we have a really good player. Well done, you unpunctual little divy.
Scoot
Its all a fitness question with him. If he can stay fit hes a very useful play, the problem is (as we all know) he gets injured a lot and it takes him weeks/months to find form again, before he inevitably gets injured again and the cycle begins again. But well done tonight to him. Offered us a lot of energy, especially in the 1st half. Tired in the 2nd half and should have gone off instead of Ramsey. Smal
really good to see him managing a good intensity for pretty much the whole match. Hasn’t managed that for years.
black_n_white
Chuffed for Willock. Keep it going lad.
timeEd32
Some very promising performances. Hope he can keep building on this and give us a spark for the rest of the season. I also hope we use that as a path to selling him and don't get any ideas about a contract extension.
barton
If this is him getting back to his best consistently, an in form Willock is difficult for any team to keep quiet
Keefaz
Looks knackered after an hour but massive respect to the lad for performances he's put in.

AJ9
Yeah really pleased for him. May be doing enough to stay, or at least get a good move in the summer.

I like the rolling back the seasons with these last few performances. I think I said a while ago him not being sold and having an up turn in form is a win win if it means we get a "howe ready player " and his transfer fee or likely number of suitors goes up. However I still feel its best for him to move on get a fee and reinvest. Too many injury issues 27 next year and the midfield likely needing some reinvestment/freshness. Coupled with his best coming from regular game time which I feel he would struggle to get in our best midfield 3 consistently.
Nucasol
Worst case scenario is he’s bumping his potential value for the summer if we’re going to sell him.

Holloway
the thing about Willock in his recent performances that has been absent for so long is that he's amongst it, making things happen. He's seemingly injury free and got his zip back, delighted for him
andycap
He's been a bright spark in all the games he's played of late looks confident which in turn he looks to be nearly back to his best after so long.

alexf
Yeah quietly become a useful player again for us. That's all we needed him to be but his levels fell way below that after that first major injury and then all the subsequent issues he's had after. First time for a long time he looks physically anywhere near his 22/23 form. He's not as quick as he was but he's got that confidence in his body back and that is contributing to his better performances. Hopefully he can keep improving and stay fit now for the rest of the season.
duo
You forget he's been at the club 5 years Looks to have found some confidence which is great to see. Edited February 15 by duo
Loki679
I see we're at the optimism stage of the Willock cycle. Next stage is an injury and then, following that, dogshit performances.
alexf
That's usually after one game though. This time he's put in 4-5 decent games now and is hopefully putting some form together. However I still always half expect to see him hobble off. Was stunned when he came out for the 2nd half against spurs when it looked like he'd knackered himself in the first with some kind of injury.
