Pokerprince2004
Not been watching all of the television coverage today but was wondering has anyone actually critisised Bruce's record at all? I find it incredibe the amount of backing he is getting. If he were at any other club in the league he would have been sacked last January after Sheff Utd, so really he is very lucky to have gotten 2 and a bit seasons. How it is seen that he's been hard done by our nasty fans (weren't even in the ground all of last season) when we are 19th with the most goals against after an 'easy' start just pisses me off

If the football/results/plan been good or even existed and we could see a path forward no-one would be saying fuck all. Rafa was criticised at times but his appearance, demeanour or words never came into it because he was a professional, not a fucking shambling fool hanging on for a payday. Actually quite like being hated

RS
Judging by the comments on the bbc site about his sacking we are universally hated and deserve relegation for the way we treated £8m richer than yesterday Bruce.
Chicane
We're full on hated everywhere like Mourinho would kinda be perfect right now with his bunker mentality style. Come out swinging talking about SBR etc. and it'd be a full on Aragorn leading the troops towards the black gate Edited October 20, 2021 by Chicane

Consortium of one
I'm done with this fat fucking waste of space, tactically inept, cabbage headed tosser. Unless something drastic happens I'm not reading anything about him. He's a blight on the profession as well as a spineless pussy with no shame. Don't feel like he ever came across as a dickhead to your club or your fans, he was just a man that should never have been appointed and was miles out of his depth. It's all on Ashley. Could be massively wrong like. You’re massively wrong
Superior Acuña
I don't hate or have very strong feelings about Bruce, he cuts too much of a pathetic figure. And I think he has a place in management lower down, he's obviously had success elsewhere. But I'm glad he's gone and he deserves heavy criticism for his time here. Especially in the way he has done the club and fans down, effectively defending Ashley. The way he came in, he knew exactly what he was getting into and what his appointment signalled. He now leaves with a nice pay off. The gushing over him in the media is bizzare, at-times unhinged, and not grounded in reality. Don't know what they're even on about half the time - was hearing how much integrity and how 'open minded' he was on saturday. Open-minded about what?? St. Maximin
I would say ever so slightly in his defence that the fans didn't take to him initially and Rafa would have been a tough act to follow even if Bruce was to conduct himself professionally. The way he left Sheffield Wednesday justifies the animosity though, but funnily enough everyone overlooks that. toontownman
He hasn't been treated any worse than anywhere else (Villa fans started the Cabbage head thing didn't they?) or how he treated Sheffield Wednesday coming here. The vitriol is always OTT by some corners of every fanbase but such is the passion and hazy magnifying glass we all see our clubs through. I can't believe we are any worse than other sets of fans, yet he has been worse than nearly everyone before him. It is simple, just like the players, all the fans want is honesty, respect and putting the work/time in. 3 things we simply didn't see enough of from Bruce, not to say there isn't lots we would never see behind the scenes but at times he flaunted the opposite of all ideals in our faces. I don't wish Bruce ill. The club is in his family (even if his genuine love is still in question) and I am sure he wanted to do a good job at some point but the hunger and desire to pull out all the stops to make that happen seemed to disappear quickly. You have to have belief in yourself and your abilities at that level to do well and he did so I don't think even knowing what he would walk into, he would turn it down. He never should have been considered, he wasn't a premier league manager at that point. I just wish he had the dignity to have seen the horror show and got out quicker. When I asked him if he'd take Bruce if/when Bielsa leaves, I get the response "fuck no, don't want him anywhere near Leeds, but he's right for Newcastle, he's a Geordie". Clueless. Wild Geese
Bruce did the fat man’s bidding and took exception to constructive criticism levied. His biggest sin was treating the support with pure contempt and garnering sympathy from the so called football experts. We are on the nose with outsiders, but we’re used to that………. “We were Born n Raised in the Black n White” Fuck em all

Rafalove
Funny bit in The Athletic, an anonymous player from a champions league team, saying we were the most difficulty to play against. There was so little structure they didn’t know what to expect or how toplay against us. Completely supports the theory of “luck”.
