Norwich are going end up saving us by default

It's not them I'm worried about, it's the mackems - they're only a point  behind us, playing much better than us and pretty much guaranteed 3 points in the derby.

Yep - Allardyce is doing what he's always done. Made them organised, ugly and they're going to get harder to beat.

I still think we'll go.

Probably down to about a 5 after the last 4 days' events. Sunderland would have been looking for at least 3-4 points from those two games, Norwich look shot. Even if we lose tomorrow I think it's 50-50.

Not down to a 5 yet, but we still have a decent chance to get out of it. Getting a point tomorrow would be massive, but we must win on Saturday regardless.

Bournemouth and above have now done enough to stay clear. Swansea could still be dragged down but they've got some reasonable fixtures coming up and a miles better goal difference.

Two from three will go down IMO. Can't see how anyone is confident with those odds.

Bournemouth aren't safe yet like.

Eight points clear with a better goal difference? Howay man, they need like three wins max, possibly just two. They've won three and drawn two of their last seven matches.

Table hadn't updated to them being on 32...

Good thing we bolted that horse to the cart, whereas the rest of the clubs around us are driving reliant robins.

Tbf Ashley never said what kind of horse he would bolt to the cart.

Oh it was a thoroughbred, but the stupid twats put the bolt through its skull, we're attached to a lifeless corpse.

we need 2 wins in the span of 4 days, 33% of our current win total. We don't get 6 this week we're f***ed.

If not - We'd have to somehow conjure up wins versus Norwich, Villa, and Swansea to get to 33 and then somehow draw 2-4 more out of my current assumption that we're losing to Leicester, Man City, Sunderland, Southampton, Liverpool, Palace, Spurs.

Feeling slightly better but Bournemouth are in the clear. Never thought they'd really go tbh.

For Swansea it all hinges on that 4-game streak. Nasty fixtures after that.

Sunderland and Norwich though

Our away form is so drastically bad it's really hard to fathom how we will suddenly switch on at Stoke. If we lose dashingly then that will be no surprise, but if we get humped it's going to look extremely bleak for him. What's Steve had? 18 days to work solely on turning us around without the distraction of a competitive game? - will be scandalous if we rock up and pick up our third game straight losing by 3 or more goals away from home.
