Edwards seems to have taken it personally that Liam Kennedy has become the go to journo on this story.

I'd imagine Luke will still be going on about how he thinks we mistreated Steve Bruce in a post-takeover scenario where we've just qualified for the Europa League semi's 5/6 years down the line.

 

He's going to be insufferable for a very long time.

We harp back to the “glory days” of Kevin Keegan and Sir Bobby Robson when we challenged amongst the elite, chasing the EPL title and also playing in the Champions League. We have longed and hoped for something different. We live and breathe our club every day, do you actually understand what that means?

It probably is waffle he’s just a fan he’s not a professional in these matters which seems to the direction they want to go in for whatever reason.

 

We’ll all go crazy if we try and work out what the fucks going on. Mimms hasn’t steered us wrong yet but I suspect the ‘make room in fridge’ and ‘good news I’m a few weeks’ was just his or his source’s opinion. We just need to wait it out, if we are to believe end of the year is PIF’s deadline, this will all be over one way or another in a matter of weeks anyway

Probably daft but it could be anything was wondering if it was a distraction technique while demarco builds a case. Maybe trying to lull PL In to false sense of security as they’d likely just laugh this threat off or even just simply piling on pressure from all different angles.

 

As I say we’ll all go mad trying to figure it out  :frantic:

I think it is without question that the club paid this groups legal fees. There are a few reasons for this I can think of:

 

1. The preferred legal route requires a ‘customer’

2. They had written some letters a couple of months ago which had statutory response times, so this is the speedier route

3. Generally coordinated attack of the PL from all angles

4. To add further pressure on PL without directly antagonising them

5. To break the legal action in smaller chunks to possibly avoid lengthy pre-arguments on which courts have what jurisdiction

6. To make an early grab on all PL communications.

 

Regardless have to move on from the idea that this is just a couple of chancers.

That said, Dickie Masters and his cronies will probably have had a good laugh at the use of the words ‘Harp back’. The correct phrase is ‘Hark back’

 

While I’m at it, the correct phrase is ‘change tack’ (a sailing term meaning change direction) and not ‘change tact’.

 

And don’t get me started on the correct use of the word ‘Peddled’..
