wormy
I'd say I can't believe it's already being suggested but I guess it's not a surprise anymore. Why don't we reward the man who looks like he's going to save what everyone had already decided was a near-certain relegated squad with some better players that suit the system he wants played so we can see if he can actually make the step up? Nah let's review his position as manager because we've just lost three on the trot, one a trouncing off a team with better players in near enough every position and another two that wouldn't have even been losses on another day. Menace
He's absolutely deserved to have a crack at next season. Beyond that it's still early to tell if he's the guy to get us top 4/6 etc.

The Prophet
He's taken one of the most unfit, unmotivated squads in the league, who hadn't won a single game in their first 11, to near enough certain safety with eight games to spare. The objective this season was to stay in the Premier League and barring a total catastrophy, he'll achieve that. He was PIF's man and they'll back him next season. Geordie Ahmed
Talk of replacing him is absolutely ludicrous. If he keeps us up (as looks likely) then that is one hell of an achievement all things considered. There is talk of if we want to kick on we need to reevaluate but in my mind if we want to kick he needs to be given a squad capable of doing so. There's not another manager in the league that will kick this squad on so why expect that of Howe. He was backed in January and he more than repaid that. He needs to be backed in the summer and then we can see how much potential he has.
HaydnNUFC
Talk about replacing him ffs. Get to fuck. He deserves and will have the chance the rebuild the club in his image for the next couple years and 1 shit game should not in a million years change that. That article about how managing NUFC is 'riding the black and white tiger' because the highs are higher and the lows are lower than any other club in the league is spot on. After the run we've been on no other club's fans would talk as if Howe needed to go because of 3 defeats, one (arguably two) of which was completely undeserved. And the bunch of yer das who hate ASM and scrutinise him to the nth degree but don't say a word about Fraser, Wood et al boil my piss. Talk of being happy to sell him man, fuck me. Fucking hate our fanbase at times.

nbthree3
No team to have such a poor start (winless in 14) to the season has ever stayed up - we went 9 games unbeaten and are 9 points clear with 8 games remaining assuming Burnley don't win their games in hand. We'll crawl over the line and look forward to an exciting summer with Howe very much in the centre of the club's plans Edited April 5, 2022 by nbthree3

Kanj
Still much work to do but appears like we will get the results to stay up, even if its later than we all want. Dr Jinx
Eddie Howe has done really well with what he’s had to work with, January was a fucker in terms of who was available. Aside from Trippier and maybe Bruno, we couldn’t secure first choice targets. We know we’d be fucked if we hadn’t gone out and overspent on a whole lot of average. The squad is fitter, no doubt about that and they seem to enjoy training.. competitive and the little things like having the photo taken of the winning side in their training matches, the players look like they’ve bought right into all that. But.. for me there's a niggling doubt, like can he hang with the best of them?.. he was totally outmanoeuvred by Conte on Sunday. We were matching them comfortably, but showed our hand for their equaliser. Conte knew we’d be vulnerable to the whipped ball into the box so he changed it up, dropped Kane much deeper and pushed other players further forward and wider to create the space. Howe didn’t know what to do about it. Yes the players had bad games too but it’s a group effort and they were let down by the manager as much as they let him down. Conte has had a few stinkers as well so hopefully this is just a one off , we played well against Chelsea and ok-ish against Everton so it’s not like the wheels have come off but 4 defeats in a row will be terrible for confidence. He needs to up his game again… if we totally tail off for rest of season and just scrape survival it won’t be a good look for him considering how well the side were playing. NoU
While Conte was my first choice, followed by ten Hag. I am so happy today that we got Eddie Howe over either of those and would not swap. The way he led us to (almost) safety in such a convincing and timely fashion is an absolutely incredible achievement, and the signs are there that it will only be better, once he gets players, that are better and more fitting his style of play. The future is bright!
Awaymag
world is going mad - it really is! 12 games ago, we were dead in the water, the squad was shit and we were certs to go down. Howe manages to get 9 games unbeaten run and a lot of people were looking at top 10. The squad is still shit. Our subs were murphy, lascelles and Bruno. We are going to have to build from ground zero. We need to strengthen the 1st team, first and foremost. Those currently in the 1st team, bar a few become the squad players. Those current squad players are shipped out. Repeat each season until we challenge for honours. We need to be patient. Howe will get things wrong but he will learn and come back from them! it was only November when we had a manager saying journalist should be slapped and 'well you know' Chill out and hopefully this season will be over and we can forget about relegation being mentioned again! Happinesstan
We've lost 3 away games, two of which were against the 3rd and 4th place teams, and the other against a team that we weren't confident of beating at home two months ago. out of the total 270 minutes we've been disappointing for 45 of them. Calm the fuck down.
