I tend to watch every presser in full now

absolutely addicted to all Newcastle content

under Bruce /Ashley i couldn’t stomach the drivel / lies that used to come out of their mouths

Listening to Howe speak and comparing him in relation with what Bruce used to bumble on about….you can’t believe they were both in the same job ..it is light years in comparison between the two

Fucking love Eddie. Can’t quite get my head around how well drilled the team is and how everyone is contributing. Even the players who lack the required quality. They know their job, they’re fit and they work their bollocks off.

What a fucking man.

His time out of the game and visit to watch Simeone work has surely had an enormous impact on him as a manager now thus also us. We've got a little Atleti-esque shithousery about us now with hitting the deck/wasting time as well as the defensive solidity.

He's a brilliant coach and appears to be a decent bloke with it too.

Can't understand why there continue to be a few people looking to blame him for absolutely anything they can.

Massive fan of his.. only negative about the team at the minute is these 'setback' injuries.  Hope it's seriously getting looked into, seems very common around the squad at the moment.

Crazy how hard to beat we are becoming, and hard to breakdown, considering we are the only team in the league not to have conceded double figure goals thus far.

29 league games in 2022, 15W 8D 6L, the losses against Chelsea (89th minute winner), Everton (99th minute winner), Tottenham, Liverpool, Man City, and Liverpool again this season (98th minute winner), and the only teams to score more than one goal against us this calendar year are Tottenham, Man City (twice), and Liverpool, which is quite amazing.

This Sunday 1 year ago, technically today now as it's the 17th, was Bruce's last game in charge. Surreal to think of how far we have come in such a short period of time.

It's also incredible comparing us to the likes of Southampton. They were one of Bruce's 8 matches last season where we got the injury time 'winner' before conceding not long after, and then of course the whole Covid rearranged thing, but at the start of the year, they were comfortably in mid table, we had one win in our 19 matches, and now, only 10 months later, the clubs just seem a million miles from each other.

Saw a stat that in their last 22 league matches they have won 3, drew 4, and last 15, 13 points.

Rashford could, and perhaps should, have notched the winner late on yesterday.

Sort of emphasises, given the intensity of our playing system, the need for a quality bench.
