From someone who's not a lifelong NUFC fan, I don't like any of these badges tbh. I think there is a chance to produce a new badge that combine modernity (80's) with classical (current one).

It’s not a logo…

City crest edges it for me, but our current one is timeless.

Not a fan of City’s but if you look back at their previous crests it’s understandable how/why they changed it to its current format. I’m really not sure how we could improve ours with any nod to history imo.

It’s great as it is.

No.3 holds a special place in my heart.  Just because it was the one on the strips when I started supporting the club and wearing football strips.  Plus for someone who couldn't draw to save themselves this one was relatively easy to duplicate on school books covers, pencil cases etc.

No.1 looks quite 'complicated'.   Good for the city council or such like but not a football club.   No.2  I just don't like.   Love the retro top that it appears on but the badge itself, nah.

But have to agree with the majority.  No.4 all the way.

The beautiful Coat of Arms of our great Regional Capital City . . .

Newcastle_City_Crest_-_Coat_of_Arms.jpg

Has been beautifully adapted to become the symbol of this great regions only truly significant Football Club, and it should always remain that way from now onward . . .

OK, if these are the badges previously used - then my thoughts are -

1. Well too over dramatic, and no reference to the team name.

2. Looks good, but slightly on the 'basic side'.

3. Looks like it something a bunch of monkeys would have come up with.

4. Nice, stylish and to the point.

If there were any 'redesign' to be done - would be a cross between 1 and 4, where you'd have more detailed 'horses' on each side, with a more 'elegant, but readable' team name.

But if we were to stay with one - then it's no 4 for me.

Should probably know this, but why is the flag that colour on the current one?
